Arrive in style this Crabfest and take advantage of a special ferry service operated by the Rivermaid between Kingsbridge – Salcombe on Sunday 5th May.

The Rivermaid will depart from Steamer Steps (near the public toilets at the head of the estuary) in Kingsbridge at 9.15am, arriving into Salcombe shortly before 10am. The return journey back to Kingsbridge will depart from Salcombe Ferry Steps at 4pm.

Crabfest mascot Charley the Crab and her little nipper Baby Crab will take a ride on the Kingsbridge and District Light Railway before boarding the Rivermaid in time for the 9.15am departure.  On arrival in Salcombe, Charley will then head down to the Chef’s Demonstration Marquee at Creek Car Park for the festival opening with Matt Tebbutt at 10am.
